FIVNAT figures

The mandatory, anonymous national IVF registry, FIVNAT, confidentially provides all IVF teams with their ranking among the 28–29 Swiss IVF laboratories, and each team is free to publish its results—which we do here in a transparent manner. Because the registry waits for all births to occur, the statistics are published with a delay of about one year.

Best live birth rate in Switzerland in 2024

    • 46.9% overall (average age 35.6 years)
    • 53.6% for transfers of genetically normal embryos (average age 37.6 years)
 


We generally report the live birth rate (not positive pregnancy tests) because only a live birth truly counts. Singer IVF achieved a 46.9% live birth rate, compared to a Swiss average of 30.4%.

The fertilization rate of 87.9% (compared to a Swiss average of 75.1%) attests to the exceptional quality of our team of biologists in the ICSI method.

Preliminary internal figures for 2025—best year ever

Such figures are only achievable thanks to the excellent teamwork of physicians, the embryologist team, nurses, the genetic laboratory, and anesthesiologists. Details such as thorough planning, clear instructions on self-injecting medications, and—last but not least—a relaxed atmosphere during embryo transfer all contribute to this success. At least half of this success is achieved in the embryology laboratory, where we are fortunate to have top-notch biologists—trained at leading Spanish clinics—who consistently manage to develop well over 50% of the fertilized eggs into Day 5 blastocysts. Finally, preimplantation genetic testing plays a key role in ensuring that only those embryos with a realistic chance of success are transferred.
