Teen Clinic with Dr. Hasler

We are pleased to offer counseling and support to teenagers at our practice. The consultation focuses on answering all questions related to the menstrual cycle, contraception, infections, vaccinations, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases, symptoms, and issues. We also administer the HPV vaccine at our practice, which should ideally be given before the first sexual intercourse.

Our goal is to address the specific needs of adolescents and young women. In doing so, we prioritize conversation and individualized counseling over physical examinations. If an examination is necessary, it can be scheduled for a later appointment. Often, an abdominal ultrasound is sufficient for this purpose. Should further examinations be necessary, we will discuss them in detail and at your convenience beforehand.

• Counselling on vaccination to prevent cervical cancer (HPV vaccination), as well as administering the vaccine if desired
• Prevention of sexually transmitted diseases

• All other topics that are important at this age and are on the minds of our young patients or their mothers

Girls and young women are welcome to come to the consultation accompanied by a friend, their mother, or another trusted person. Of course, everything we discuss is subject to medical confidentiality.
