Pricing at Singer IVF

Transparent costs for your journeyto parenthood: We prioritize medical criteria, which is why we offer modern packagepricing for IVF and ICSI treatments (starting at 7,700 CHF). To avoid financial burdens, these packages already include the first embryotransfer—regardless of whether it is a fresh or frozen transfer. Find out more about our services here.

Cost Transparency for Fertility Treatment

With the exception of IVF/ICSI and social freezing, all of our clinic’s services are reimbursed by health insurance. Before you begin with family planning, we recommend switching to a low deductible plan!
In Switzerland, IVF and ICSI continue to be paid for privately—despite repeated efforts by our professional association for reproductive medicine, the SGRM. We strive to offer streamlined services and are pleased that couples from all social backgrounds visit our practice.

The total cost of IVF/ICSI treatment varies depending on the number of attempts required. For medical reasons, embryo transfer is increasingly being scheduled not during the stimulation cycle (fresh transfer) but in a subsequent cycle (thawed transfer), either because the uterine lining is more receptive at that time or because we are awaiting the results of preimplantation genetic testing—which is in increasingly high demand at our clinic. Other medical reasons for a delayed embryo transfer (so-called “freeze-all”) include: 20 or more eggs stimulated, 15 or more mature eggs retrieved, an increase in progesterone levels in the blood at the time of egg retrieval
. Until now, postponing the embryo transfer to the following cycle meant higher treatment costs because the thawing cycle was billed separately. To ensure that the decision to delay embryo transfer can be based purely on medical criteria and no longer entails financial disadvantages, we introduced attractive package prices in the spring of 2024, which generally include the first embryo transfer, regardless of whether it takes place as a fresh or delayed transfer.

The package price of 7,700 Swiss francs (as of January 2025) for a fresh cycle now includes:

  • Treatment planning and instruction on self-injections
  • Ultrasound scans during stimulation
  • Egg retrieval under short-term anesthesia
  • Anesthesia administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF)
  • Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
  • Biologist services and laboratory supplies
  • If biologically indicated: Facilitating the “hatching” of the blastocyst (laser-assisted hatching)
  • One embryo transfer (in a fresh cycle or delayed with a thawed embryo)
  • Cryopreservation (freezing) of surplus embryos, including storage fees for the first six months (thereafter 220 CHF per additional six months for a maximum of 10 years)
  • Reports to external physicians
  • Legally required anonymous reports to the FIVNAT registry and the cantonal medical officer
  • Legally required quality control

The only items not included in the above package price are medications (an average of 1,400 Swiss francs for the fresh cycle and 600 Swiss francs for the thawed cycle) as well as, if appropriate and desired, preimplantation genetic testing (an average of 3,500 Swiss francs depending on the number of embryos).

If the embryo transfer cannot take place due to a lack of suitable eggs or embryos, or if a second stimulation cycle is desired to produce additional embryos for future use, a discount of 2,000 Swiss francs will be applied to the cost of the subsequent stimulation cycle. In the case of multiple consecutive stimulation cycles, only one embryo transfer (the first one) is included.

Additional thawing cycles cost 2,750 Swiss francs plus medication.
